Driver Positions Pay Weekly Single Trailer Miles: $0.62 per mile 2000 - 2400 miles per week Additional pay for Double miles Paid Training Loyalty Bonus:Pays you $2500 with $1250 at 6 months and $1250 at 1 year Schedule: Monday - Friday Start Time: 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM Occasional 6 day work week Must be flexible Choosing a driving career is a big decision. Deliver SOLOTo:UT, ID, NV, AZ, CO, WY, Western NE, MT Route: Regional 3 - 4 Nights per Week Tractor Type: 2019 Freightliner Cascadia - Day Cabs & Sleepers TrailerType: Rocky Mountain Set 48' Trailer with Pup Trailer or a Super Set, 48' with a 42', all Swing doors, or 48' & 53' Dry Vans with Swing doors Freight:No Touch - Supplies and Beverages Endorsements required: Doubles Endorsement with 6 months Experience Must be willing to obtain Hazmat within 90 days of being hired on Must have winter driving experience Ryder Drivers operate well-maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations. Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Pass a Ryder Drug Test Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years Pass a DOT physical Pass a Ryder road test Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years experience within the last 10 years Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures Responsibilities Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer Performs other duties as assigned Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
