Overview Registered Dental Assistant Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports orthodontics care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act. Assists the doctor in procedures Takes x-rays Takes IO's Assist in Prophylaxis cleaning of teeth Instructs patients on oral hygiene Charts cavities and teeth with doctor Sterilizes instruments Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene Charting of patient\'s treatment and treatment plan with doctor Qualifications Education and/or Experience: Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or trainingOR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred BIlingual in Spanish, preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: California Registered Dental Assistant License X-Ray Certification Coronal Polish Certification Current BLS certification Sealant Certification, preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
