Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients, utilizing clinical tools and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) when necessary, to develop personalized care plans that recognize the unique cultural and individual needs of each patient. Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, employing evidence-based interventions and strategies tailored to support each individual's mental health diagnoses and promote well-being. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment records, reports, and other essential clinical information, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and departmental protocols. Collaboratively design and implement comprehensive treatment plans that involve patients and their families, focusing on desired outcomes and effective care strategies. Coordinate referrals to appropriate specialists and treatment providers, fostering effective working relationships with clinicians and community resources as necessary. Provide guidance and mentorship to students, interns, and peers within the organization, assisting in their professional development. Participate in clinical review processes, providing peer feedback and contributing to a culture of learning, collaboration, and growth within the team. Patient Population / Client Focus The LCSW will provide care to a diverse patient population, which may include individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. The focus will be on delivering culturally competent care that is sensitive to the unique backgrounds and needs of each patient. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation in California. At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating expertise and a commitment to patient care. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team, while also remaining attentive to patients’ needs. Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting up to twenty-five (25) pounds as necessary. Preferred Experience Experience in telehealth services and familiarity with relevant technology platforms. Prior involvement in clinical supervision or mentorship roles. Training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities that cater to specific mental health disorders.
