Home Health Aide

We are seeking a Home Health Aide for our Assisted Living facility.

Schedule: AM shift part-time (7:00AM-3:30PM), PM shift part-time (3:00PM-11:30PM), NOC shift full-time (11:00PM-7:30AM), and on-call positions open.

Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care and adult day services.

Responsibilities

The Home Health Aide is a key team member who provides direct personal care to our residents to help ensure their dignity and quality of life. Under the supervision of a RN the Home Health Aide assists residents to complete activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, giving medications and feeding.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and documentation. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency, accuracy and competency in assistance with medication administration on a consistent basis.
• Ability to work independently and dependably to efficiently deliver care to meet residents needs.
• Ability to work with residents from diverse backgrounds.
