Job Title

RN - Telemetry - Float Pool

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines across the float pool
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all patient care decisions
• Monitor and respond to telemetry data and cardiovascular status changes in assigned patients

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• EPIC electronic health record experience is required
• Holiday RTO requests will not be approved for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior acute care facility experience
