About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Surgical Services to provide enterprise leadership and strategic direction for perioperative, surgical, and procedural care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and execution of system-wide strategic business plans, advancing standardized workflows aligned with evidence-based practices, and ensuring the delivery of high-reliability care. This role requires a leader who can optimize operating room throughput, drive margin growth, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care through robust education, workforce development, and recruitment strategies. The AVP will also be involved in financial management, quality and patient safety, staff engagement, and provider partnership. Applicants must have a Master of Business or Master of Healthcare Administration and a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive, executive-level leadership experience in complex surgical and procedural services. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in strategic planning, operational optimization, multidisciplinary leadership, and financial acumen. Strong clinical expertise, data analytics, and a focus on practice and professional development are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in an integrated health system and a background in sterile processing. The position requires a leader with excellent interpersonal communication, change management skills, and a commitment to regulatory compliance and high-reliability organizational leadership.
