Outside Sales Representative
Lifting Gear Hire Corp seeks an Outside Sales Representative to grow rental revenue for hoisting, rigging, jacking, and lifting equipment across an assigned territory. You will prospect and visit industrial, construction, and infrastructure customers, identify lifting and rigging needs, and recommend safe, cost-effective rental solutions. Responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, preparing quotes, negotiating terms, and partnering with operations and technical teams to ensure safe, on-time delivery. This field-based role requires frequent customer site visits, adherence to LGH's safety-first culture, and the ability to build long-term, service-driven relationships.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new industrial, construction, and infrastructure accounts within an assigned territory.
- Conduct on-site customer visits to assess lifting and rigging needs and recommend appropriate rental solutions.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and rental agreements while managing pricing and terms within company guidelines.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM tools and regularly report on activity, forecasts, and results.
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure safe, accurate, and on-time delivery of equipment.
- Educate customers on safe use, capabilities, and limitations of hoisting, rigging, and lifting gear.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue, margin, and activity targets.
- Represent LGH at industry events, trade shows, and customer trainings to build brand awareness and relationships.
- Follow all LGH and customer safety policies and promote a safety-first culture on customer sites.
- Develop long-term, service-driven relationships by providing responsive, solution-oriented customer support.
