Join a dedicated, student-centered environment as a School Psychologist providing essential direct services to special education students within a highly supportive district in the Denver area. This on-site, contract opportunity offers leave coverage across varying schools, with flexible start and end dates depending on assignment selection. Possible roles include support at different schools and grade levels, ranging from elementary through middle grades, with the potential for extended assignments.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in a school-based psychologist role is required.
• Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate in School Psychology.
• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Service Provider License with a School Psychology endorsement.
• Strong assessment, crisis management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in data collection, evaluation reporting, IEP development, and technology use.
• Completion of district background check and fingerprinting required prior to start.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver group and individual counseling per IEP mental health service goals.
• Develop and implement interventions to address academic, social, behavioral, and mental health needs.
• Provide timely documentation, progress monitoring, and communication with stakeholders.
• Conduct suicide and threat assessments; participate in crisis management, safety plan development, and response.
• Carry out assessments, write evaluation reports, and collect data for FBAs and BIPs.
• Engage in all relevant team meetings, including IEP, MTSS, and behavioral health.
• Offer psychoeducation, consultation, and professional development to staff.
• Support students with 504 plans and general education behavioral interventions.
