The Las Olas Network is partnering with a leading, PE-backed wealth management platform serving individuals, families, endowments, and institutions across the US, Canada, and the UK, to hire an M&A Accounting Lead at a critical inflection point for the business. With over 1,200 employees across 40+ offices and a comprehensive platform spanning wealth management, institutional consulting, family office, and retirement advisory services, Our Client is actively expanding through acquisition. This role sits at the center of that growth, supporting the full lifecycle of M&A transactions from financial due diligence through post-close integration. What You’ll Own Financial due diligence support: analyzing target financials, preparing schedules, and validating data integrity Working capital calculations and opening balance sheet valuations for all acquisitions Review, documentation, and tracking of contingent consideration, including coordination with third-party valuation specialists Post-close accounting activities including technical accounting analyses and financial statement preparation Support of external and internal audits with organized workpapers, schedules, and documentation Ensuring compliance with US GAAP, internal policies, and effective internal controls across transactions Partnering with internal stakeholders and external advisors on complex accounting issues and transaction decisions Identifying and driving process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy across M&A accounting operations What We’re Looking For 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience with meaningful M&A or technical accounting exposure Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA license or progress toward certification strongly preferred Solid, applied understanding of GAAP including purchase accounting and fair value concepts Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability Experience in modern ERP environments (Workday, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar) High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity Background in public accounting or a PE-backed / acquisitive corporate environment preferred Experience in private wealth management, institutional retirement, or business management a plus Why This Role Stands Out Front-row seat to a high-velocity acquisition strategy at one of the most active platforms in wealth management Direct exposure to deal execution, technical accounting, and post-close integration — all in one seat Collaborative culture backed by deep institutional expertise and a commitment to putting people first Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with company match, and hybrid flexibility Clear path for expanded scope as the acquisition pipeline continues to grow #J-18808-Ljbffr
