Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions to develop tailored treatment plans that meet their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, typically managing 1-2 patients per hour, in a focused and individualized manner.
• Utilize advanced evidence-based techniques and modalities to improve patient mobility and reduce pain, utilizing tools such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring compliance with best practices and protocols.
• Document patient interactions and progress in our WebPT system, maintaining accurate records to facilitate coordinated care and communication with the healthcare team.
• Engage with patients to motivate them throughout their recovery, providing support and education to promote self-management and long-term health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a physical therapist at On Point, you will work predominantly with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. This includes a diverse demographic ranging from active adults to senior patients, ensuring varied clinical experiences that will enhance your competence and confidence in patient care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. Advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) are preferred.
• Possession of an active California Physical Therapy license, or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Demonstrated strong clinical reasoning skills and a hands-on approach to rehabilitation, reflecting a passion for patient care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive patient relationships and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, exposing you to a wide spectrum of conditions and treatment modalities.
• Experience using electronic medical records, specifically WebPT, will be considered an asset.
• A background that includes continuing education in specialized areas like sports rehabilitation or geriatrics can enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
