Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification as an MRI Technologist from an accredited program
• ARRT (MR) certification, or eligible
• Current BLS certification
• Proven experience performing MRI scans in a healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple cases efficiently
• Familiarity with standard MRI safety protocols and troubleshooting

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate MRI equipment to produce detailed images for diagnostic purposes
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after scans
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality diagnostic information
• Prepare and position patients according to the clinical indications and imaging needs
• Verify patient identification and explain procedures clearly to foster understanding and reduce anxiety
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and equipment logs
• Follow infection control standards and safety protocols at all times
