Overview Break Time Store Managers oversee the performance of an assigned Break Time Convenience Store. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training and evaluating employees, with a keen focus on customer service and store sales. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service, greet and thank customers, and handle complaints quickly and courteously. Oversee day‑to‑day store operations: reporting, banking, inventory, bookkeeping, fuel management, equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and opening/closing procedures. Execute food programs and promotional activities, ensuring proper pricing, merchandising and product presentation. Supervise employees: scheduling, training, motivating, enforcing company policies, monitoring productivity, conducting performance evaluations, and enforcing time‑keeping. Understand and manage store finances, control shortages, participate in audits, meet or exceed sales and expense goals, and perform loss control functions. Promote teamwork, maintain a positive work culture, and ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. Use store technology to compute change, complete shift reports, perform product counts, and adhere to scheduling templates. Perform any other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Prior management/leadership experience. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum age 18 years. Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance, with secured transport of bank deposits. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and works well both individually and leading a team. Ability to perform mathematical calculations for change, shift reports and product counts. Technical proficiency with computers and office productivity software. Physical ability to ascend and descend ladders, move up to 50 lb items, and work in refrigerated environments for up to an hour. Ability to stand for up to nine hours per shift. English language proficiency for effective communication. Successful completion of a background check and drug test. Legal authorization to work in the United States.
