The Director provides comprehensive administrative oversight of academic nursing programs and has oversight over academic program staff who support degree program administration, accreditation compliance, institutional data collection, instructional design, information technology, admissions/recruitment, and program evaluation. Working collaboratively with academic program leadership, faculty, and the Director of Clinical Nursing Programs, the incumbent develops and executes long-term vision, policies, and procedures for academic nursing programs while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards (AACN, BRN, CCNE). The Director serves as the primary subject matter expert for accreditation matters, working with faculty groups, institutional researchers, and student affairs personnel to ensure the preparation of thorough and accurate accreditation reports.
