Our client, a leading organization in the financial services sector, is seeking an Accountant - Mid-Level to join their team. As an Accountant - Mid-Level, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Financial & Regulatory Reporting team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive mindset.

What's the Job?

• Lead the monthly closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for financial statements and reports
• Perform reconciliation of contribution, grant details, dividend, and fee activity with high attention to detail
• Assist with the preparation and review of supporting schedules for external audits and tax filings
• Research employee matching gift account postings and support ongoing tax reporting activities
• Participate in quarterly valuation reporting for alternative investments and organizational initiatives

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting, investments, or financial services
• Proficiency in Excel, including macros and database applications
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly
