Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Pella, IA. This travel assignment begins on 10/05/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Earn a weekly pay rate of $2,174 to $2,213 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift pattern is 3x12 nights (7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.), Friday through Sunday, in a critical access hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct obstetric and newborn nursing care across the labor and delivery unit, including fetal monitoring and labor support.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and respond to changes in patient status with critical thinking.
- Conduct timely assessments, develop and adjust care plans, and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary team and family.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiology, neonatal staff, and support personnel to ensure safe deliveries and comprehensive postpartum care.
- Supervise assigned support staff, coordinate patient flow, and provide patient and family education for discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, adhere to infection control practices, and uphold patient safety standards.

Requirements
- Current Iowa RN license in good standing; BSN preferred (Graduate of an accredited RN program).
- BLS required; ACLS certification required. New employees must certify within three months after the hire date.
- Nursing experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Competent in basic computer use and nursing documentation; able to care for neonate through geriatric populations.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. and meet facility-specific credentialing and onboarding requirements.
