Duration: Contract
Pay Rate: Up to $19.50/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support transportation and logistics operations. In this role, you will review freight bills, resolve billing discrepancies, coordinate with carriers and internal teams, and ensure accurate and timely customer billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze carrier freight bills for accuracy.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and duplicate charges.

• Coordinate with internal departments and transportation providers to obtain required documentation.

• Ensure timely and accurate customer billing.

• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve open billing issues.

• Maintain high levels of customer service while supporting billing operations.

• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and operational efficiency.

• Utilize Microsoft Office and internal systems to manage billing activities.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, Audit, Transportation, Logistics, or Load Planning.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.

• Experience in freight, transportation, or supply chain operations.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
