Job Full Description We're looking for a skilled and safety-minded Press Brake Operator to join our clients growing fabrication team. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components with precision and efficiency. What You'll Do:
- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper bend angles and dimensions
- Load/unload materials and finished parts safely and accurately
- Maintain clean and organized work area in line with safety standards
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience operating a press brake machine (CNC preferred)
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and measuring tools
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to safety
- Willingness to work overtime or different shifts as needed
