Our client is a Tier 1 automotive supplier located in Northeast Georgia in commuting range to Anderson, SC supplying OEMs with roll formed and welded structural parts.

The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years experience in Production Management experience in the automotive industry with aspiration to become Plant Manager.

The Production Manager is responsible for being a leadership resource to its team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice. The manager is responsible for knowing proper procedures for workers to follow and ensuring that they comply. The manager might be called upon to share special industry techniques on how to use tools and equipment, or tips on how to improve quality or speed of production.

Excellent benefits $115,000-120,000 salary range DOE

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to participate in the elaboration of the plans and Forecast of the productive plants, especially in the technical result of the plants and investments for operational activities
• Implementation, Control and Monitoring of Master and Country KPI's (OEE)
• Contact with clients especially in cases of quality problems, and relocations or relocations of processes to agree plans or actions with final client
• Implementation of systems for recruitment and training of talents, as well as loyalty of Key Positions according to the standard of the region
• Participate in Operations Project Groups
• Responsible for implementation and compliance with applicable legal regulations in terms of prevention of occupational risks
• Informs and implements changes in the standards of the group in its areas of competence
• Responsible for the achievement of the expected results in the P&L of its areas of competence
• Participate in the next Benchmarking that will be carried out by technologies or products between the plants
• Experience in continues improvement and lean manufacturing and trouble shooting
• Responsible management and implementation facilities for new projects
• Scope of responsibilities may vary based on business needs
• Responsible to manage improvement process in the production lines according to the company procedures
• ISO/TS19649 Knowledge and support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree preferred.
