Legal Assistant | El Segundo, CA (Hybrid) | Up to $72,800 | Plaintiff Labor and Employment | Bilingual Spanish required Salary: $60,000 - $72,800 per year. Job Details We are a growing plaintiff-side law firm in El Segundo, representing employees and individuals in employment and personal injury matters. Our practice focuses on wage and hour class actions, harassment, discrimination, retaliation claims, and personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents. Responsibilities Calendar management and tracking all time‑sensitive legal deadlines accurately Preparing, filing, and e‑filing documents in court Creating document templates, shells, and tables of authority for pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda Ensuring court‑compliant formatting for captions, margins, fonts, spacing, page numbers, and standard section headers Supporting partners with emails, calls, scheduling, document organization, record keeping, note‑taking, and meetings Assisting with bookkeeping tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and error review Organizing files, scanning, faxing, mailing, and running errands for court or delivery Preparing conference rooms, ordering meals, and supporting trial preparation as needed Requirements 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably within plaintiff labor and employment Native/professional proficiency in Spanish required, as majority of caseload will involve Spanish‑speaking clients Benefits Flexible hybrid schedule post‑probation; competitive pay; medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) with matching after one year; performance‑based bonuses; discretionary annual raises; unlimited PTO; company laptop, dual monitor setup, and cell phone.
