Supervisory Housing Management Specialist

Duties
Performs as the Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH) Branch Chief (Supervisor) for III Corps and Fort Hood.
Supervises and directs the work of a staff which includes the Furnishings Management Office Staff.
Responsible for approximately 16,000 furnished barracks living spaces in over 102 UPH facilities with a yearly average turnover rate in excess of 50%.
Responsible for one warehouse which stores the requisite number of float stock UPH furnishings and appliances.
Develops and implements the Army Barracks Management Program (ABMP) in accordance with appropriate legislation, Service regulations, and guidance from multiple Service higher headquarters.
Provides consultative/advisory services for a major IMCOM/FORSCOM Corps Headquarters; an atypically large multiple-division Class I Installation and numerous large tenant/ satellite activities.
Provides expertise in program management within budgetary constraints, legality and general program objectives.
Negotiates major program issues and operational requirements with other agencies, community organizations, and tenants.
