Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Surgeon

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Surgeon to join its expanding Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. This clinical faculty position offers a busy, diverse sports medicine practice across our academic medical center and affiliated hospitals. The ideal candidate will excel in advanced arthroscopic surgery, shoulder and knee reconstruction, and sports-related injury management, while also contributing to the education of residents and fellows. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a clinically focused role within one of the nation's leading academic medical centers.

Position Highlights:

Busy sports medicine practice
Predominantly clinical role
Opportunities to teach and mentor orthopaedic surgery residents and fellows
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Access to advanced surgical technology and research resources
Faculty appointment at UT Southwestern Medical Center (rank commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Qualifications:

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine
Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
Eligible for Texas medical licensure
Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration
