Registered Nurse (RN) - Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in postpartum care to join our team. This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional nursing care to postpartum patients and their newborns.
Assess and monitor the health status of mothers and infants.
Provide education and support to families regarding newborn care and recovery.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Utilize EPIC software for patient documentation and communication.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of postpartum RN experience in a hospital setting.
Experience in a Level 1 Nursery is preferred.
Valid California Registered Nurse license required.
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions allowed).

Work Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30).
Weekend availability is required.
Floating to other areas may be required within the scope of practice.
Must be available to work 3 out of 5 holidays.
No scheduling requests can be accommodated; maximum 2 weeks in advance.

Special Requirements

EPIC experience is required for this position.
