With a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, this position allows for a balanced work-life schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver individualized and comprehensive care to each patient, ensuring that their unique rehabilitation goals and needs are prioritized.Manage a reasonable patient load, placing emphasis on quality of care and allowing for adequate one-on-one time with each individual.Employ your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to devise and implement effective treatment plans based on prior experiences and current best practices.Utilize cost-effective and evidence-based interventions aimed at improving patients' motion, strength, and overall mobility.Educate patients on the benefits of non-surgical alternatives and work to minimize reliance on pharmaceuticals through appropriate therapeutic exercises.Construct comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques, continuously evaluating their effectiveness and modifying plans as necessary.Design and tailor fitness and wellness programs that match patients' specific needs and goals.Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, fostering a supportive relationship that aids their progress.Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and optimal patient outcomes, actively participating in multi-disciplinary team discussions.Maintain accurate documentation using EMR software such as Web PT, ensuring that all treatment services provided are recorded comprehensively for patient management.Patient Population / Client FocusOur physical therapist will primarily engage with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our clientele ranges from athletes to older adults, ensuring that the therapist applies diverse therapeutic techniques and modifies treatments suited to various levels of physical ability and lifestyle needs.QualificationsA Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia is necessary, with a clean record free from sanctions or board actions.Proven proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and an impressive ability to design, implement, and modify exercise programs tailored to patients' progress.Strong familiarity with documenting patient care through EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to track patient journeys effectively.Commitment to remaining current with the latest research-backed physical therapy techniques and methodologies.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable and will be taken into account during the selection process.Demonstrated ability to engage with patients effectively, fostering a motivational environment conducive to recovery.Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
