Travel Medical Surgical Orthopedic RN – Days | Rockford, IL

Shift: Days, 12-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and medical-surgical patients
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor post-operative recovery and pain management
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Educate patients and families regarding recovery and discharge planning
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams

Requirements

• 2–3 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
• Orthopedic nursing experience strongly preferred
• Active RN License
• BLS Certification (AHA) required
• ACLS Certification preferred
• Strong bedside nursing and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
