Title: IAM Architect
Location: Sunnyvale, CA - Onsite
Duration: 6 months
Pay Range: $45 - $50/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

Role Overview:
  • Experienced IAM Architect with 10+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and modernization of enterprise IAM solutions.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and resilient IAM platforms supporting:
  • Workforce access
  • Partner access
  • Privileged access
  • Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Application, Cloud, and Business teams.
  • Define IAM strategy, governance, automation, and compliance standards.



    Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead enterprise application onboarding into IAM platforms.
  • Define standardized integration patterns for:
  • SaaS applications
  • On-premises applications
  • Legacy applications
  • Design and implement Okta application onboarding solutions.
  • Drive automation of application onboarding and access governance processes.
  • Develop and implement remediation workflow automation.
  • Enhance IAM governance and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure IAM solutions comply with enterprise security and regulatory standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define IAM architecture and integration requirements.
  • Modernize existing IAM platforms and processes using automation and DevOps practices.
  • Application Onboarding & Automation
  • Application onboarding previously required approximately 20 hours per application .
  • Automation reduced the onboarding effort by approximately 50% .
  • Candidate should be able to explain the complete application onboarding process and automation approach, including:
  • Application discovery and requirement gathering
  • Access and authentication requirements
  • Integration pattern selection
  • Okta application configuration
  • SailPoint integration
  • Active Directory integration, where applicable
  • Attribute and identity mapping
  • Provisioning and deprovisioning configuration
  • Access policies and governance
  • Testing and validation
  • Deployment
  • Documentation
  • Post-production remediation and support
  • Candidate should be able to quantify the before-and-after automation effort and explain how the 50% reduction was achieved.

  • Experience automating IAM workflows using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
  • Experience working with SaaS, on-premises, and legacy applications.
