Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Cardiac Operating Room is responsible for providing specialized nursing care in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU. The role focuses on cardiothoracic cases involving neonates through adult-sized pediatric patients, including those with developmental delays and congenital anomalies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with cardiothoracic surgical procedures including Tetralogy of Fallot repairs and open heart valve surgeries.
• Provide circulatory support for procedures with a range of patient types.
• Float to General OR to assist with cases when not busy in CVOR.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of Pediatric CVOR experience.
• BLS, PALS certifications required; CNOR preferred.
• WA State or compact RN license.
• Highly preferred skills: IV start, scrubbing, art line, and circulating experience.
