Your future role at a glance Location: Austin, Texas Facility: Dell Children's Medical Center Department/Specialty: Child Psych Schedule: Full time | Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm How you'll make an impact in this role Lead the implementation of comprehensive patient care plans, proactively monitoring progress to ensure every individual reaches their clinical milestones. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams as the primary point of contact, ensuring seamless communication between specialties for holistic patient support. Advocate for patient safety by meticulously executing physician orders and maintaining high-quality clinical documentation that reflects the true patient journey. Navigate the discharge planning process in collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure patients have a clear, safe, and supported transition back to their homes. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelor's level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed. What additional requirements you'll need Clinical Expertise: Registered Nurse with over two years of professional experience, specializing in psychiatric and mental health care. Administrative Proficiency: Proven background in navigating complex insurance verification processes to ensure seamless patient access to services.
