We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to help secure enterprise systems, networks, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) that support critical business and government operations. This is an opportunity to work with modern cybersecurity technologies while contributing to security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance initiatives.

Your Mission Includes:

• Defending enterprise systems against emerging cyber threats.
• Strengthening security controls and reducing organizational risk.
• Supporting NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 compliance efforts.
• Investigating security events and assisting with incident response activities.
• Improving security processes, technologies, and operational practices.
• Collaborating with technical teams to enhance cybersecurity resilience.

• SentinelOne (EDR/XDR, Vulnerability Management, and Deep Visibility)
• Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID
• Microsoft GCC
• Proofpoint Email Security
• Cisco Meraki

• Microsoft Purview DLP
• FutureFeed
• Security logging, monitoring, and analytics platforms

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of cybersecurity, information security, or systems/network administration experience with a security focus.
• Experience administering security technologies such as endpoint protection, firewalls, VPNs, email security, or security monitoring tools.
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing, and segmentation.
• Experience with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, or similar cybersecurity frameworks.
• Ability to investigate security events, analyze risks, and support remediation efforts.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Security Requirements:

• Must successfully pass all background screening requirements necessary to obtain and maintain access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
• Compliance with company security policies, customer requirements, and applicable federal regulations is a condition of employment.

Bonus If You Have These Skills:

• Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CEH, Network+, or similar certifications.
• Experience with SentinelOne, Microsoft GCC, Entra ID, Meraki, or cloud security technologies.
• PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting experience.
• Experience supporting government, defense contractor, or highly regulated environments.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

• Work Environment: Work is primarily performed in an office setting with frequent use of computers, multiple monitors, and cybersecurity technologies. Occasional work in    server rooms, equipment areas, or operational facilities may be required.
• Computer and Technology Use: Requires prolonged periods of sitting, using computers, reviewing security dashboards, monitoring alerts, analyzing logs, preparing    documentation, and working with multiple software platforms simultaneously.
• Visual Requirements: Requires the ability to continuously view and interpret information displayed on computer monitors, including security alerts, event logs,    dashboards, reports, system configurations, technical documentation, and other detailed electronic information.
• Manual Dexterity: Requires sufficient hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills to operate computers, keyboards, mobile devices, security hardware, and related    technology equipment. Must be able to type, navigate multiple applications, and perform detailed system administration tasks accurately.
• Cognitive and Analytical Demands: Requires sustained concentration, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The position involves analyzing    complex technical information, assessing risks, investigating security events, prioritizing multiple issues, and developing appropriate corrective actions while maintaining   accuracy and attention to detail.
• Mobility: Must be able to move throughout office and operational facilities to attend meetings, participate in audits, inspect equipment, support technology deployments,     or assist with security-related activities. Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving of computer equipment and related technology devices may be required.
• On-Call and Incident Response: May be required to work outside normal business hours, participate in on-call rotations, and respond to cybersecurity incidents, system   outages, security events, audits, or other business-critical situations.
• Security and Confidentiality Requirements: Requires access to sensitive company information, systems, and data, including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Must maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all organizational security policies, access control requirements, and applicable regulatory obligations.
• Travel: Occasional local or regional travel may be required for training, audits, assessments, or business-related activities.
