Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Role: Nurse Practitioner – Neonatology (NNP) in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities: Provide specialized neonatal care in a Level III NICU, manage patient assessments, treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team. Cover 16-hour shifts and ensure quality patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills: VA license, DEA registration, and appropriate neonatal care certification. Strong clinical skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication. Familiarity with NICU protocols and patient management. Key Duties: Deliver comprehensive neonatal care, support in LDR couplet rooms, and coordinate with in-house OB hospitalists. Manage a daily census of 9–11 infants, with approximately 1,250 annual deliveries. Ensure compliance with hospital and NICU standards.
