Production Manager - Polymer Emulsions

This new role in our Martin, SC facility is responsible for leading the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of water-based emulsions polymers with focus on adhesive products. This role ensures manufacturing operations meet customer requirements, quality standards, and business objectives while driving continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve quality, delivery, and cost targets, always prioritizing safety. Manage production schedules, capacity, and inventory to meet customer demand. Ensure compliance with legal aspects, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives optimizing the performance and utilization of the production unit. Lead, motivate, coach, and develop production teams. Partner with Supply Chain, Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, R&D, and Commercial teams. Support new product launches, know-how transfers and process improvements. Manage manufacturing budgets and productivity programs. Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibilities. Experience in water-based polymer emulsions, adhesives, coatings, or specialty chemicals. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety, quality systems, and continuous improvement.
