Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Atlanta, GA. This travel temporary assignment starts 09/07/2026 and runs for 13 weeks with guaranteed hours. You’ll work a 2x3 Days shift schedule in a hospital setting on a 30-bed Med/Surg unit operating as a dedicated education unit (DEU). Travel nurses on this unit will NOT be performing educator duties; their focus is direct patient care for Med/Surg patients. The role offers a weekly pay range of $1,641 to $1,663 and a guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care for Med/Surg patients on a 30-bed unit, adhering to a 5–6:1 patient ratio
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, manage IV therapies, and address acute changes in condition
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans; document clearly in the electronic health record
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and infection control standards; respond promptly to call bells and emergent needs
- Participate in handoffs, daily rounds, and routine unit activities while maintaining a patient-centered focus

Requirements
- 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience; level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital experience preferred
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work on a dedicated education unit while providing high-quality Med/Surg care
- Comfortable operating in a busy hospital environment with a 5–6:1 patient ratio
