UnityPoint Health is actively recruiting for a PRN Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Dubuque, IA.

General

Established team of Nurse Practitioners with Neonatologist support
Established program serving the Dubuque community
Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy
PRN position; 24 hour shifts with dedicated sleep suite
Looking for coverage for 3-9 days per month
Level 2 NICU
Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

4-bed NICU with Average census of 3-4
NNP will also round on well-born babies; 2-6 per day
Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
Specialty skills: LDRP, umbilical lines and circumcisions will be performed
Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner trained
Experience REQUIRED
Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
Eligible to work in the United States
