Fast-paced and high-volume laboratory with extensive test menu for a wide range of testing platforms. Here’s What You Need Bachelor's degree in chemical, Biological, or Clinical Science required. Bachelor's Degree must have 24 semester hours of science courses with 6 semester hours of chemistry, 6 semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of chemistry, biology, medical lab technology in any combination. 5 years under the director of an MT or Pathologist. 2 years leadership experience preferred. MT(ASCP) - Medical Technologist Upon Hire OR MLS - Medical Lab Scientist Upon Hire OR CT(ASCP) upon hire OR HTL(ASCP) upon hire. Other AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS- CA, FL, NY state license, Philippine Board of Technical Technology Upon Hire required. What You Will Do Oversees work schedules and personnel assignments for the department. Reviews abnormal results. Checks outstanding tests list in a timely manner. Resolves quality control discrepancies before releasing patient results. Recognizes and diffuses crisis situations, including complaints from physicians, nurses, other hospital personnel, patients and/or their families, and co-workers. Complies with lab and section/cost center guidelines, procedures, and policies.
