Budget Analyst Sr

Department/Unit: Budget & Planning Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $71,612.39 - $110,999.20 Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field. Three years budgeting or accounting related experience required with two years academic health science center experience preferred. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and database maintenance required. Basic Functions Supports all aspects of budget development and annual budget process. Maintains budget versus actual reporting and position control roster. Specific Responsibilities Develops and maintains StrataJazz databases. Develops salary budget models and databases for all entities. Supports centerwide fringe rate determination. Develops Excel worksheets and schedules for annual budget process. Analyzes actual performance against budget, routinely and through special analytics. Manages and reconciles approved FTES in Human Resources system, Workday. Manages and oversees staffing reporting on a weekly and monthly basis. Data analysis requiring querying and extracting data from various financial sources. Maintenance and analysis relating to the Manual of Financial Relationships and interinstitutional calculations. Relationships Interacts with all levels of Albany Medical Center management, up to and including Executive Vice Presidents. Communicates with external consultants as required.
