RN Registered Nurse - Short Term Care

Overview Position: RN – Short Term Care (STC), Day Shift, Full‑Time; location: Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740. Pay Range: $46.90–$63.09 per hour. The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. Compensation will depend on educational background, skills, and professional experience. RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for the Psych IP-STCF Department, at Monmouth Medical Center. Essential Functions Provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, ensuring awareness of ethical standards as defined by the ANA code of ethics. Ensures safety in practice and promotes evidence‑based practice by maintaining personal knowledge and fostering collaboration with the patient care team. Reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. Understands the patient population served. Supervises and directs task delegation to appropriate team members, collaborating with other providers. Sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement. Utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care, individualizing the plan of care for each patient. Qualifications ASN or Nursing Diploma. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient computer skills. Certifications and Licenses Required Basic Life Support (BLS). Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License. Preferred BSN or completion of BSN within 5 years upon hire. Scheduling Requirements Full Time, Day shift.
