Finance Counsel (Private Credit) | New York A leading international law firm is seeking a Counsel to join its market-leading Private Credit practice in New York. This opportunity is well suited to experienced Senior Associates ready to step into a Counsel role , as well a s existing Counsel seeking a stronger platform and a clear, credible pathway towards partnership . The team continues to invest strategically in senior talent, offering the opportunity to play a meaningful role in the continued growth of one of the market's premier private credit practices. Counsel can expect to play a leading role on matters including: sponsor-backed acquisition financings direct lending and unitranche facilities NAV, recurring revenue and other bespoke financing structures refinancing, recapitalisation and liability management transactions special situations and opportunistic credit matters, complex cross-border financing transactions. This opportunity would suit lawyers seeking: a leadership role within one of the market's premier private credit practices sophisticated domestic and cross-border financing work meaningful client ownership and responsibility for transaction execution a clear and credible pathway towards partnership. Candidates should ideally have 6+ years' experience advising on private credit, leveraged finance or broader banking & finance transactions significant experience acting for direct lenders, private credit funds and/or private equity sponors excellent drafting, negotiation and client management skills strong commercial judgement and the ability to lead complex transactions experience gained at a leading US or international law firm. #J-18808-Ljbffr HIA Legal
