Description Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, Aurora, Colorado, USA Department: Surgical Progressive Care Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Day and Night Rotation Pay: $35.29 – $54.71 per hour, based on relevant experience This is an onsite position; hybrid or remote work is not available. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited or state‑board‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years of experience. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and any additional life‑support certification required for the position. Six months of RN experience. BLS or CPR card valid through sixty days of hire. Team Overview Provide top‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Value a multidisciplinary team approach, prioritize wellness from the patient perspective, model proficiency through precepting new staff, welcome innovative knowledge, and contribute to safety and quality at the point of care. Progressive Care Fellowship For nurses new to critical care, a four‑phase orientation based on AACN’s ECCO® resources, including simulation, blocked learning, an electronic tracker, and staged knowledge verification. Progressive Care Responsibilities Direct care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a technically complex environment. Apply AACN’s Synergy Model and specialty certification standards in evidence‑based care. Receive individualized specialty education and training through Clinical Educators.
