Summer/Fall Internship Program

in our Washington, DC office. Our intern will have the opportunity to join us in our work supporting RTI’s financial operations, enabling our team to provide top‑notch support to Democratic campaigns, committees, PACs, and nonprofits. Also: every internship comes with training and mentoring opportunities (this isn’t a gimmick; we want to help you learn!).

Responsibilities

Assist our team with financial recordkeeping

Maintain client accounts excel tracker and other accounting logs

Assist with monthly reimbursement process

View payments made via online banking portal and mark invoices paid in accounting software

Assist with credit card and account reconciliations

Prepare & send invoices

Other duties as needed

Important details

Paid internship? Yep! We pay $17.95/hour

This internship is part-time (up to 10 hours/week)

Internships typically run from July 6th to November 24th, but we’re flexible with start/end dates

Location: This position is based in our office in Washington, DC. This position will work a hybrid schedule, with two days a week in the office and three days remotely.

We will provide a laptop.
