Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic practices to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
- Perform comprehensive assessments to understand each client's mental health status and develop customized treatment plans aimed at achieving measurable outcomes.
- Engage in regular collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and healthcare providers, ensuring well-rounded and comprehensive care for each client.
- Maintain precise and timely documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and any changing needs, using our electronic health record system to maintain effective communication among team members.
- Stay informed on the latest research, best practices, and advancements in mental health therapy through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will have the privilege of working with a diverse clientele that includes individuals from various backgrounds experiencing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our practice encourages an inclusive approach to therapy, celebrating diversity and promoting cultural competency within our treatment practices.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
- Active state licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting.
- Strong skills in communication, rapport building, and empathy, with the ability to establish therapeutic relationships with clients swiftly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with a broad spectrum of mental health concerns that affect diverse populations.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
- Previous participation in continuous education programs or workshops related to mental health best practices.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary within the range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
