Technical Architect

The Technology Architect role focuses on supporting and advancing the Product Management practice within a dynamic enterprise environment. This position is responsible for sustaining and evolving cloud services, data and analytics platforms, and on-premises hosting products. The role involves translating strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps, managing product governance, and providing business analysis to ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals. Responsibilities:

• Sustain and manage existing cloud and on-premises hosting service products to ensure continuity, quality, and alignment with branch priorities.
• Mature and operationalize product management practices, artefacts, and governance across the organization.
• Support planning, execution, and reporting for operational initiatives related to cloud services, data platforms, and hosting services.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable product roadmaps and service evolution plans.
• Track progress, risks, and dependencies while providing clear, decision-ready updates to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, technical teams, and project resources to deliver aligned technology solutions.
• Plan and coordinate service design, operational readiness, and governance activities for new enterprise technology services.

• Demonstrated experience in platform product management for complex cloud services, data and analytics platforms, and on-premises hosting services.
• Strong business analysis skills including eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, and managing business requirements.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders across business, architecture, and technical teams to deliver technology solutions.
• Proven ability to develop product strategies, business cases, product roadmaps, and service plans.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, including IaaS and PaaS models.
• Experience operationalizing enterprise platform products and services, including service design and governance.
• Experience working within large enterprise or public-sector environments, preferably with complex governance structures.

• Experience within the Ontario Public Service or broader public sector environment.
• Senior IT Business Analyst background with a focus on cloud services and enterprise platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, decision-ready materials.
• Experience managing competing priorities and stakeholder engagement in a matrixed organization.

• Must be able to work onsite for 5 days as required.
• Role requires effective engagement with multiple stakeholder groups across a large organization.

• Standard business hours with potential requirements aligned to project and operational needs.
• Onsite presence required for specified periods as per project demands.
