Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a community Emergency Room setting
• Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or compact state license (must be in hand at time of submittal)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale education required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records — no exceptions
• Minimum of one supervisory professional reference required for submission
• Emergency Room specialty experience within the last year required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a community or high-volume Emergency Room environment
• Familiarity with stroke protocols and neurological assessment tools
