Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

$1762.56/week –

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality medical-surgical and orthopedic nursing care in a fast-paced acute care unit. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety throughout each shift.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and post-procedure care, including radial cardiac cath recovery.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient status promptly.
• Document patient interactions and treatments accurately in the EMR system.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols and policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current and valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg acute hospital experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with hospital equipment such as Baxter IV pumps and SCD machines.
• Possess BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Exhibit strong clinical skills in managing medical and post-op cardiac patients.
• Be a hard worker with high energy, a positive attitude, and excellent patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
