ERTC Outreach Coordinator

Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands is hiring an ERTC Outreach Coordinator in Nashville to support tenants facing eviction through our Eviction Right to Counsel (ERTC) Program. About the Role The Eviction Right to Counsel (ERTC) Program is a grant-funded project that provides legal representation to low- and moderate-income tenants facing eviction, ensuring equity and inclusion in the legal system. The Outreach Coordinator works with our team to develop, support, and execute outreach initiatives across the Davidson County service area, helping clients access resources, guides, and information about the program. Workplace type: On-site Employment type: Full-time What You'll Do Represent Legal Aid Society in the community, attend outreach events, network with service providers, and make appropriate referrals for legal assistance. Maintain a daily presence in the courthouse to provide information to tenants facing eviction. Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, and appearances. Conduct online and hybrid outreach events and know-your-rights trainings. Establish new relationships and nurture existing ones with collaborative partners. Prepare accurate records and reports on outreach goals. Help develop and distribute culturally and linguistically appropriate outreach materials through trusted community channels. Build positive working relationships with organizations that benefit the client population. Assist with intake as needed. What We're Looking For Minimum high school diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred. Two years of prior experience in a law office, court, social service agency, or other relevant setting. Experience working with low-income people. Basic proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Effective oral and written communication skills, including helping people in crisis. Driver's license and reliable transportation. Fluency in written and spoken Spanish or Arabic is a plus.
