Senior Tax Associate (Miami)

We are partnering with a well-established and growing organization seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join its tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to take the next step in their career while gaining broad exposure and working closely with experienced leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns
• Assist with corporate, partnership, and/or individual tax compliance
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions and related workpapers
• Perform tax research and analyze technical tax issues
• Prepare and review multistate income and franchise tax returns
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams on tax-related matters
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diverse US federal and state & local tax legislation and US GAAP financial statement reporting requirements for taxes (ASC 740)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–4+ years of relevant tax experience
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of federal and state income taxation
• Experience preparing and/or reviewing tax returns and supporting workpapers
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
