Exciting Opportunity for Night Shift RNs in a Dynamic Medical Intermediate Care Unit!

Job Description:


- Shift: 12 hours, Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Unit: Medical Intermediate Care Unit (42 beds; 21 medical & 21 intermediate care)
- Patient Ratios:
- Intermediate Care: 1:3
- Medical: 1:6
- Types of Cases Seen:
- PNA (Pneumonia)
- COPD Exacerbation
- DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis)
- HHS (Hyperglycemic Hyperosmolar State)
- ETOH Withdrawal
- GIB (Gastrointestinal Bleeding)
- Sepsis
- PE (Pulmonary Embolism)
- UTI (Urinary Tract Infection)
- Respiratory Failure
- Years of Experience Preferred: 1-2 years
- Required Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Additional Information:
- Floating to other units may occur; RNs will work on both medical-tele and intermediate care sides.
- Must have experience with trachs, vents, high-flow nasal cannula, cardiac drips, BiPAP, and telemetry.
- Contract Length: 91 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Location Requirement: Must be located outside of a 90-mile radius from the facility.
