The Mental Health Evaluator (MHE) role in the hospital Emergency Department delivers clinically appropriate, trauma‑informed behavioral health interventions and coordinates aftercare for discharge patients. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, consultations, crisis interventions, family engagement, documentation in EMR, and collaboration with ED and Psychiatry teams to determine level of care and disposition while upholding legal and privacy standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr Westchester Medical Center Health Network
