Plaintiff Civil Litigation Attorney

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Plaintiff‑Side Civil Litigation Attorney with 1+ years of experience in any area of civil litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to focus exclusively on the plaintiff side, gain significant courtroom and case‑handling experience, and grow with a dynamic solo/small‑firm practice. This position is located in downtown Los Angeles. Key Responsibilities Handle all aspects of plaintiff‑side civil cases from intake through resolution Draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, oppositions, and trial documents Conduct and defend depositions Propound and respond to written discovery Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and trials Communicate regularly with clients and provide strong case management Perform legal research and draft memoranda Assist with case strategy and settlement negotiations Support the firm's overall caseload as needed Qualifications Admitted to practice in California (active and in good standing with the State Bar) 1+ years of civil litigation experience (plaintiff or defense side is acceptable; plaintiff experience is a plus) Experience in any of the following areas is welcome: personal injury, premises liability, employment disputes, business litigation, landlord‑tenant, consumer protection, insurance bad faith, or general civil disputes Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with the firm principal Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and time‑management skills Passion for plaintiff‑side work and advocating for injured or aggrieved clients What We Offer Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Performance‑based bonuses tied to case results Health insurance and retirement plan options Generous paid time off and holidays Hands‑on mentorship and significant courtroom/deposition experienceOpportunity for rapid advancement and potential equity track in a growing practice Collaborative, supportive, and results‑driven work environment The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, hardworking, and excited to build a meaningful plaintiff practice in Los Angeles.
