Stockroom/Shipping Clerk

Job Purpose:

The Stockroom/Shipping Clerk is responsible for effectively and efficiently processing material for storage and distribution through means such as, packing or unpacking parts, picking and issuing material to production, receiving material to stock, and physical inventory counts.

Overview:

We're looking for a Stockroom/Shipping Clerk to support daily warehouse operations, including pulling parts for production, receiving and stocking materials, and preparing shipments. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull and issue parts and materials for production work orders.
• Perform warehouse computer transactions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist with daily cycle counts and inventory control.
• Receive, stock, pack, and ship materials and finished products.
• Load and unload shipments; operate forklifts and WAV equipment.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehousing, inventory control, or material handling.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred; strong computer skills required.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely; basic math skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Must adhere to all company policies and safety requirements.
