Looking for an engaging role as a School Psychologist where every day brings new challenges? This contract position offers the chance to serve as a floater, supporting multiple districts throughout Fayette, Greene, and Washington counties. Your expertise will be utilized to provide comprehensive evaluations and support where schools need it most across the Intermediate Unit’s region. Assignments are full-time and predominantly onsite, requiring the ability to travel between sites, with immediate needs in the California Area School District and evaluations spanning all three counties. Expect a dynamic schedule and the opportunity to impact a diverse array of student populations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid and active Pennsylvania School Psychologist Educator Certificate required
• Previous experience working within K-12 settings preferred
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills for a range of disabilities
• Adaptability to work flexibly across multiple sites and shifting caseload needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Reliable transportation for travel within Fayette, Greene, and Washington counties
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform psycho-educational evaluations and re-evaluations for students across the region
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to develop strategies supporting student success
• Travel to assigned sites as needs arise, serving as a valuable resource across districts
• Provide written reports and oral feedback to teams in a clear, professional manner
• Support crisis response and student interventions as called upon
• Maintain organized records and comply with state/federal guidelines
