We are Making Sustainability Happen.As our new Associate Environmental Geologist/Engineer/Scientist, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal.SLR International Corporation is seeking an Associate Environmental Geologist/Engineer/Scientist to join our Anchorage, Alaska operations. The candidate selected for this role will work within our Alaska Land Quality and Remediation Technical Discipline, assisting with a variety of functions related to contaminated site investigation and remediation. Preferable candidates will have experience in consulting and/or industry, preferably focused on Alaska projects. Positions in the Anchorage office also provide great opportunities for growth and gaining broad experience in site investigation and cleanup, environmental permitting and compliance, and air quality.Responsibilities:Work with clients from a variety of industriesCollect groundwater, surface water, and soil samplesReview State, Federal, and Local regulations for applicability to site cleanupAssist other SLR teams with work in a variety of disciplines including air monitoring, waste management, permitting, and complianceTravel to clients' facilities for inspections and document reviewWork within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignmentsWorking @ SLRWith us, there is no doubt you'll grow your subject-matter expertise and industry knowledge.
